Jakarta – The increase in positive cases patient due to the COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact. In addition to taking lives, it also paralyzed the world economy, including Indonesia. Many people were laid off, and many residents needed a helping hand.
Nawakara has a big concern for this condition. That's the reason behind our participation in social service activities held by the Association of Indonesian Safeguard Services Business Entities (ABUJAPI) and in collaboration with the Jakarta Police. The handover ceremony was held at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday (22/4).
The event was attended by ABUJAPI Chairperson Agus Dermawan, Dirbinpotmas Korbinmas Polri Headquarters Police Brigadier General Edy Murbowo Sik., MM., Head of Sub Directorate of Security, Dirbinmas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol. Drs. Badya Widjaya SH., MH., and GA & Procurement Div. Head of Nawakara Sakti Wahyudana.
This activity was held to help security guards affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, both directly affected as ODP and PDP, as well as being affected economically due to the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) which affect the level of welfare of the security guards.
"Today Nawakara is here to participate in the social service activities held by ABUJAPI. Donation collected will be distributed by the committee to security guards affected by COVID-19 throughout Indonesia," said Sakti Wahyudana.
The donation provided by Nawakara was in the form of cash and grocery packages to the social service committee, which would be handed over directly to security guards from BUJP-BUJP who in need. Nawakara hopes that the results of this activity can provide some relief to colleagues affected by COVID-19.
