Nawakara Achieves 2,500,000 Man-Hours without Lost Time Injury Award

Jepara – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) has succeeded in contributing to the achievement of work safety levels at the Tanjung Jati – Jepara PLTU Project (PT Wasa Mitra Engineering) by reaching 2,500,000 hours of work free from injury (Lost Time Injury) between September 2016 to July 2021.
The certificate of achievement was handed over directly by the management of PT Wasa Mitra Engineering, Hiroshi Horii to the Tanjung Jati – Jepara PLTU Project Leader, Alexander Boy at the PT Wasa Mitra Engineering office, Kembang District, Jepara Regency, Central Java, Tuesday (3/8).
"This achievement underscores Nawakara's commitment to ensuring everyone returns home unharmed every day by complying with occupational safety rules (HSE). Nawakara continues to be consistent in developing innovative HSE initiatives in the Tanjung Jati – Jepara PLTU Project work environment," said Boy.
This is not the first time Nawakara has achieved Lost Time Injury previously; in November 2020, Nawakara achieved 2,000,000 work hours free from injury. "This proves that Nawakara continues to be committed to maintaining job security for all employees of the Tanjung Jati – Jepara PLTU Project following the applicable HSE rules," said Boy.
Representing the management of Nawakara, Boy thanked the management of PT Wasa Mitra Engineering for the appreciation given. "This appreciation will be our motivation to continue to provide the best service for the Tanjung Jati – Jepara PLTU Project. Hopefully, this success can be a spur for other achievements in the future," said Boy.
