Dompu – Nawakara Project STM (RO Surabaya) personnel carried out a clean-up action with residents in Daha Village and Marada Village, Hu'u District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Tuesday (2/3).
Nawakara carried out this activity after the flash floods that hit Daha and Marada Villages on February 28 and March 1, 2021. As a result of the disaster, residents suffered material and non-material losses estimated at hundreds of millions of rupiahs.
STM Project Nawakara personnel cleaned the remains of objects in the residents 'neighborhood, from the culverts that could clog the waterways, residents' houses, places of worship, and roads almost entirely covered by mud. This action was led directly by the Chief Security Project STM, Salman, and the Hu'u Sub-district Head, Muhtar S.Sos.
Salman said, apart from personnel assistance to clean up residents' neighborhoods, PT STM management provided service for residents' necessities.
"As residents we are concerned, so we go straight to help clean up the remnants of the flood. As a form of concern, PT STM donated food, medicine, and other basic necessities which were handed over by PT STM management to the Dompu Regent," explained Salman.
