Nawakara Receives Zero Injury Accident Award

Tanah Laut – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) received the "Zero Injury Accident" award through the Arutmin Asam-Asam Project (RO Balikpapan) from PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam, during the National K3 Month Opening Ceremony at the Arutmin Asam-Asam Project Field, Jorong District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan, Wednesday (20/1).

The award was given directly by the Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam, Novriyadi to Soni Hermawan as PJO / Site Coordinator of the Nawakara Project Arutmin Asam-Asam.

"The Zero Injury Accident Award is given to Nawakara because when carrying out security duties, none of the personnel on duty at the Arutmin Asam-Asam Project had an accident that could cause injury to humans or employees," explained KKT PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam.

This Zero Injury Accident is calculated every period per 1 year, starting from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020, which applies to all partners who work at PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam. This year Nawakara received the award for the first time.

"We are happy and proud to be able to win the Zero Injury Accident award. This award is for the entire Nawakara Team in the Arutmin Asam-Asam Project, who has worked in teamwork by prioritizing safety and paying attention to the K3 factor so that Zero Injury accidents can be actualized. This award must be maintained, and it is our collective responsibility to regain this award in the future," said Soni Hermawan.

Soni advised to always be vigilant in carrying out security duties, recognizing and understanding the conditions of the work environment, and implementing tasks because potential hazards must exist in every activity. Carry out a risk assessment at each guard post, and the activities carried out to eliminate/ minimize the risk of accidents.

"Good team communication and coordination can create a safe and conducive work environment, and always cultivate K3 in our daily lives both in the work environment, family and society," he concluded.
