Tangerang Selatan – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) slaughtered sacrificial animals at the 1441 Hijriyah Eid al-Adha celebration in Padepokan Rajawali Nawakara, Bintaro, South Tangerang, Saturday (1/8). Totally, four cows and 10 goats have been slaughtered and distributed to Nawakara employees and local residents.
"This year we sacrifice 4 cows and 10 goats, a total of 400 packages of beef distributed and 100 packages of lamb to Nawakara employees and local residents," said Hendra Rohar, Nawakara's General Affair, Asset & Facility Management Department Head.
This year sacrificial animal slaughter is different from the previous year, because of the Covid-19 pandemic. That's why the slaughtering process must pay attention to protocols as recommended by the government in slaughtering sacrificial animals and the distribution of sacrificial meat.
Hendra explained the slaughter of sacrificial animals was carried out with health protocols. There is no distribution of meat with physical coupons, only with a list of recipient names via e-mail. For Nawakara employees, the distribution schedule is divided by the hours of each division so that there is no buildup during collection. While the distribution of meat specifically for residents was distributed to RT to be distributed.
"Even though the situation is different from the previous year, we remain enthusiastic and still pay attention to the Covid-19 protocol in the implementation of sacrificial animal slaughtering, I hope that in the following year Nawakara can slaughter more sacrificial animals," concluded Hendra.
