Separately, Nawakara RO Pekanbaru handed over 9 goats through 7 tail for Chevron Pacific Indonesia Projects (CPI), 1 tail for EMP Bentu Ltd Project, and 1 tail for Malacca EMP Project. All sacrificial animals are distributed to several mosques and neighborhoods in the Pekanbaru RO Project work area through the Community Relations Project and Area Coordinator Project.
"Local citizens really appreciate and thank Nawakara for providing sacrificial animals, they also gave a prayer that Nawakara will continue to triumph and always fly on Riau land and throughout the archipelago," said Afrizal, Community Relations Project
RO General Manager Pekanbaru, Ermansyah said the Eid al-Adha celebration in the Covid-19 Pandemic period was different from previous years, this year it must follow protocols according to government regulations both when slaughtering sacrificial animals and distributing the meat.
"The slaughtering of sacrificial animals in each Project is carried out by the qurban committee with no more than 5 butchers. While for the distribution of meat directly handed over by the committee to the residents that already been recorded before, this is to avoid the mass crowd in the area of slaughtering sacrificial animals," said Ermansyah.
