Jakarta – Nawakara RO Jakarta handed over 2 goats at the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1441 Hijriyah through the Jakarta MRT Project to residents around Blok A and Cipete Raya, South Jakarta, Thursday (30/7). Sacrificial animals were handed over directly to the Ihyauddin Mosque caretaker, Block A, and the Al Mujahidin Mosque caretaker, Cipete Raya.

Iskandar Zulkarnain, Jakarta MRT Project Manager, said that this is the second year the MRT Jakarta MRT Project given the sacrificial animals. "This is our CSR for local residents that live in vulnerable areas such as Blok A and Cipete Raya." said Iskandar.

Iskandar hopes that in the future this CSR activity can continue to be carried out routinely to help local residents, not only during the Eid al-Adha celebration but also on other days.

Separately, Nawakara RO Pekanbaru handed over 9 goats through 7 tail for Chevron Pacific Indonesia Projects (CPI), 1 tail for EMP Bentu Ltd Project, and 1 tail for Malacca EMP Project. All sacrificial animals are distributed to several mosques and neighborhoods in the Pekanbaru RO Project work area through the Community Relations Project and Area Coordinator Project.

"Local citizens really appreciate and thank Nawakara for providing sacrificial animals, they also gave a prayer that Nawakara will continue to triumph and always fly on Riau land and throughout the archipelago," said Afrizal, Community Relations Project

RO General Manager Pekanbaru, Ermansyah said the Eid al-Adha celebration in the Covid-19 Pandemic period was different from previous years, this year it must follow protocols according to government regulations both when slaughtering sacrificial animals and distributing the meat.

"The slaughtering of sacrificial animals in each Project is carried out by the qurban committee with no more than 5 butchers. While for the distribution of meat directly handed over by the committee to the residents that already been recorded before, this is to avoid the mass crowd in the area of slaughtering sacrificial animals," said Ermansyah.
