Makassar – In commemoration of National Waste Care Day (HPSN) 2021, Nawakara Regional Office (RO) Makassar acted to clean up rubbish at the Losari Beach Pavilion, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, on Friday (19/2). This activity is in line with Nawakara's concern for environmental issues, which is currently being echoed by various communities in protecting nature preservation.

"Apart from caring for the environment, this action is a means for us to provide education on the importance of keeping the beach clean to the community, so that people are aware of the benefits of maintaining the cleanliness of the beach to attract tourists to visit," said M. Rifai Arief as Regional Manager of RO Makassar while leading trash cleaning action at Losari beach.

On the same occasion, this positive activity initiated by the Nawakara Head Office was also carried out by the Jeneponto EBJ Project and the Kendari PJBS Project. Both projects are clients of RO Makassar operating in Eastern Indonesia.

In action, the Jeneponto EBJ Project invited residents to clean the As-Salam Mosque in Bonto Jai Village, Bissappu District, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi. A total of 8 security personnel descended to clean the inside and outside of the mosque. This action was led directly by Arwansyah as the Security Project Supervisor for EBJ Jeneponto.

While the Kendari PJBS Project, led directly by Juharno as the Chief Security Project of PJBS Kendari, commemorated HPSN 2021 by cleaning up the Project area, the Security personnel collect trash and burn it together. After that, it was continued with planting tree seedlings in the Project area, and this was done as a form of concern in preserving the nature around the project.

As the leader, General Manager of Nawakara RO Makassar, Antonius Mangatta fully supports the team's social action in the field. These activities can be a means of education and building cooperation with the community. "I am proud of the social action carried out by the team in the field. Although the activities carried out are not large, they will have a big impact on the community and the surrounding environment," he said.
